The Renand Foundation was born from a transformative journey to Haiti in 2015, where the founder's passion for humanitarian work collided with a stark reality: the pervasive issue of restavek, where children from rural families are sent to urban areas in hopes of a better life, only to fall into exploitation and slavery.
Today, it operates schools, clinics, and children's centers, offering education, healthcare, and support to vulnerable communities. Through initiatives in housing, industry creation, and healthcare provision, the Foundation aims to build sustainable communities in Haiti, empowering locals to prosper and end the restavek crisis.
Motivated by this injustice, the Foundation set out to prevent more children from becoming restaveks and reunite those already affected with their families.
They invite engagement through trips, support, and contributions to sustain their impactful mission.
